Levels

Using Levels. The difference in these two photos is strictly a change in levels.

Using Cropping. This is the first photo, cropped.
Using Perspective Skew. If you have a "keystoned" image, you can square it up.


Using Layers. Layers are very powerful ways to enhance images. In this example, I used an adjustment layer to multiply the levels, and improve the contrast.I also cropped the image and showed it here at actual size, although the "before" image has been reduced in size for the sake of brevity.
