I've been an amateur genealogist since 1990. I
like it because it helps me understand my heritage. I like it because the people
in it are friendly and fun.
I've lectured at FGS, NGS, and GENTECH since
1996, and written articles published in Everton's Genealogical Helper, Genealogical
Computing, The Ancestry Daily News, Ancestry and others.
I served on the board of GENTECH from
1993 to 2002, and as president of GENTECH from 1998 to 2002. I've worked for
Ancestry.com since 2003. In that time, I've come to know many wonderful people in the
genealogy community, and to learn a lot about my own past.
